An awareness programme on “Formal Financial Institutions, Affordable Financial Services and Prohibited Financial Schemes" conducted by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for the development officers attached to the Divisional Secretariat, Welipitiya and the community in this area was successfully held on 15th February 2019 at the Divisional Secretariat, Welipitiya.
