The “Modern Technology Programme” organized by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for small and medium entrepreneurs engaged in the bricks industry in the Kamburupitiya Divisional Secretariat was successfully held on 18th June 2018 at the Community Hall, Akurugoda, Kamburupitya. 51 entrepreneurs participated for the programme.

A Public Lecture on “State of the Economy as Reflected in the Annual Report 2017” organized by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka with the collaboration of the Centre for Banking Studies, Rajagiriya and the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka for teachers in the Galle District will be held on 20th June 2018 from 09.00 a.m. at the auditorium of the District Secretariat, Galle. The lecture will be conducted by Dr. (Ms.) D.S.T. Wanaguru – Deputy Director of the Economic Research Department of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
