Regional Office - Matale
Technology Transfer Training Program on “Production of Batiks” organized by the Regional Office – Matale of Central Bank of Sri Lanka was successfully conducted at the premises of CBSL Regional Office – Matale. The training was conducted during 5 days from 05th November 2018 to 16th November 2018 with the participation of 30 Entrepreneurs in Matale District.
Awareness Program on “Financial Customer Protection Framework” organized by the Regional Office – Matale of Central Bank of Sri Lanka, in Collaboration with the Department of Supervision of Non-Bank Financial Institutions of Central Bank of Sri Lanka was successfully held at the auditorium of CBSL Regional Office – Matale on 24th November 2018 with the participation of 90 officers from Non-Bank Financial Institutions in the region.
“Athwela” Trade Exhibition and Market Enhancement program organized by the Regional Office – Matale of Central Bank of Sri Lanka was successfully conducted at the premises of CBSL Regional Office – Matale on 23rd and 24th November 2018 with the participation of 60 Entrepreneurs from Matale and Kandy Districts.
Training Program on Brush manufacturing and market linkage was successfully held at the Rattota Community Center on 17th, 18th and 19th of January 2020 with a view to eradicate poverty and increase income generation of the people in the area. 25 low income earners participated in this program. Lanktrad International (Pvt.) Ltd. has agreed to purchase the manufactured brushes which meets the required export standard and other brushes can be sold locally. Regional Office – Matale of Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Coconut Development Authority has organized the program.
